Hemming issues....my sad news.

I've bought two pairs of pants in the last few weeks that I love....and then I went and messed up the hemming job.  GGGGRRRRR, $15 down the tube.  I bought a pair of the Seven for all Mankind Dojo jeans which are fantastic.  It took me two weeks to get into the alterations/drycleaning place.  The jeans were sitting in my car and when I, on the fly, flew by the shop.  All I had were my running shoes on to wear with the jeans because I hadn't really planned the drive by.  I figured I'd have them hemmed a bit longer so I could wear them with heels.  Well, it didn't work, they are WAY too long, and I really have to roll them to wear them with flats (which is what I wear about 90% of the time).

Next I bought a pair of the Hard Tail yoga pants with the floral waistband--love these.  They are easy to hem because you simply cut them and the hemline roles.  Well, that presumes that you don't cut them too short.  GGGGRRRRR.  They are fine, but I would have been much happy with another 1/2 of inch.

Moral of the story:  HEM CORRECTLY, DON'T GO TO FAST AND MESS IT UP!!!!  Bring in the shoes you will be wearing with the pants, and if you are cutting, GO SLOW and GO CONSERVATIVE.
