African Violets from Eileen Fisher

Ahhhh. Summer has come, and with it this gorgeous, plummy violet from Eileen Fisher! Rich and ripe, the sumptuous color looks great with all skin tones, and all of our favorite summer accessories!

We love this linen tank dress with its swingy skirt, super-slimming cut and understated wow factor! Dress her up with gold bangles and nude gladiator sandal, or try her with a chunky abelone ring and silver t-straps! She's gorgeous,so we're gorgeous!

 

 

Also in this collection we get the to-die for summer neutral oregano color. A deep grey/green, this sophisticated shade goes with anything, and this wonderful cropped poncho top looks sooooo cool with denim and a sexy tank! In love!!!

A lovely new shipment of Hard Tail has hit the racks, and we couldn't be happier! Soft, supima cotton and modal blends in casual, comfortable, and colorful silhouettes from spring and summer! The New Denim

We are living in a great time for fashion. You can wear any piece from any decade in any modern combination! Classics like jeans are constantly reinvented, and jeans of all styles and fit are in. With their very polished 70's vibe, dark wash wide leg jeans are my new  favorite fashion choice! The modern wide-leg jean is an endlessly flattering and versatile look year-round.

  Although I do love a bootcut, and own several pair of skinny jeans to wear with ballet flats and tall boots, for my size 10 self the wideleg trouser jean is my new best friend! The trouser slims my hips and thighs by providing a sort of ballast at the hem. The volume of the leg deemphisizes the width of my hips!  A higher waist in stretch denim  hugs me and holds me in, while the five-pocket styling (no back flap pockets!) looks really smooth. No muffin top, ever! I love to wear dark wash wide leg jeans with siliky blouses, tucked in, and heeled boots. They also look great with tees or tunic-length tops with sandals. Very chic, very bohemian -- but totally updated. I'm wearing mine now with a grey dolman tee, a gold tassle necklace and mocassins. Fun!  

Pretty, Polished, Playful!

Like a breath of fresh air! A breezy, modern dolman top in jaunty chevron stripes has us totally smitten! Velvet continues to melt our hearts with their gorgeous tee shirt design for every season. Here is a perfectly fresh look to start off the new year, with a sexy slouch that also hides our holiday tummy! A crisp, but relaxed look with straight legs and ballet flats, or we could give it a hot 70's vibe with wide-leg trouser jeans and sandals. Wear it in the spring and summer with faded, distressed denim and comfy sneaks! A beautiful piece to go with nearly any accessory. (We love it with this super-cool Ada bracelet!)

Trina Turk, you are just killing me!

Ugh, seriously....she is just KILLING me with her amazing, fantastic, super talented self.  Her spring line is off the charts darling and even though fall/winter is my favorite time of year (because of my obsession with boots and cashmere), her spring line is so amazing it actually makes me EXCITED for spring (despite the fact it is forever away).  So...just so you can drool a little with me....3 of the lovelies that we will be getting in February!  Signed, ME {lv}

Layers of perfection.

 This new Stewart & Brown Waffle Stitch Dress is fabulous on its own...but then when you layer it over the Stewart & Brown Printed Merrow Tank, you have perfection.  I love how the pink plays off the grey.  Throw on some great jewels, and boots, and you are off. 

  
 I'm also in love with the Stewart + Brown Mesh Sweater, layered over the Stewart + Brown Lengthened Printed Long Sleeve Tee in Ink .  GREAT tonal combo, and the color is so rich and beautiful in person (and looks almost universally great on everyone).

I've long been an fan of the Stewart + Brown Short Sleeve Lengthened Tee and it gets even more adorable with the contrasting Stewart + Brown Printed Merrow Tank in Pink.

 

Layering brings dimension to your outfit and is a great way to combine fun colors or textures.  I love that you could take these 6 Stewart + Brown pieces and make SO many different outfits with them!

My new little fall loves.

 
I think I raved about them last year, and I'm going to rave about them this year too.  I STILL love the AG Tomboy Jeans.  I love the relaxed fit, I love how they look cuffed, and I loved the sexy boyfriend fit.  I have to force myself not to wear them.  Newest addition, Dunbar wash.  Perfection.

 

I've also been waiting for this S & B Essential Belt, FOREVER.  Leave it to Stewart + Brown to make me something I can't live without. 

 

 

 

Oh, and they did this too....which I definitely can't live without!  It's called the  S & B Ruched Princess Seam Top.  Color is gorgeous and the ruching makes it incredibly flattering on!

Ilse Jacobsen boots & raincoats are here!

I've been waiting...oh so patiently, for my first pair of Ilse Jacobsen rainboots!  Not that I am willing the rain to come (because when it comes, it won't leave until next June), BUT....I can't wait to wear these!  They are iconic rainboots...can't miss them when you see them, and full of uber Scandinavian cool.  We are starting with the basics, tall black, and shorter beige...because I'll be honest, these aren't inexpensive, so I want to be able to wear them ALL the time.  What really sold me is that if talk to anyone who owns a pair of Ilse J. boots they'll tell you they are awesome, and totally worth the splurge.  If you live in a place with rain and snow for a good chunk of the year, you know that a fabulous pair of waterproof boots is essential to your feet happiness.  I love that these look so cool, are so well made (100% natural rubber--apparently makes synthetic rubber look/feel as cheap as it is) and I can wear them with everything.  I'm envisioning my skinny jeans, black Ilse J. boots and a big cozy cashmere sweater.  My uniform. 

And....don't even get me STARTED on how rad the rainjackets from Ilse are.  They are technical in design, and by this I mean that the touches, quality,and  tailoring are perfect, and strive to be much more than just your typical pretty raincoat.  They have a sleek feel to them, are lightweight, but substantial, and the detailing is amazing.  

Good enough to stash now for wear later, for sure!  Signed, ME {lv}
