This coat just happens to be on the chick pick today, so it gives me the perfect excuse to blog about it. I'd really call it a long "sweater" and I think it is absolutely great. This is the type of thing I usually don't gravitate toward when it comes to making purchases (probably because #1 is it is expensive, and #2 I can't think of specific things to wear it with). Sometimes the more basic pieces that you really CAN wear with everything make it harder because you can't think of one outfit that it specifically completes. I've learned my lesson over the years though, these are the pieces that end up worn the most in my closet. I'm inevitably chilly in the summer at random points---in air conditioned rooms, early in the morning, later in the evening, and in Oregon there are quite a few regular old "days" that just aren't that warm. That is when I'm always searing around for something to throw on other than a sweatshirt. This particular MOL sweater has a great shimmery glow to the knit, it isn't heavy since the knit is sort of holey, and it has a tie for the waist so you don't loose shape. You can tie the self tie in the back and wear it open too if you want a different look. It is great when you are wearing a tank but feel a little naked and it is great when you want just a bit of warmth over something bare. Love it!! Signed, ME {lv}
do you think the knit will hold up well, since it is a rather loose knit? Also, the Laurie B. Bloom Coat - does that come in other colors? Thanks so much,
