the simplicity of building memories...

The other day LV was chatting about the major pressure there is these days to celebrate your little one's birthday. It seems as though, big hoopla events and keeping up with little junior jones is the norm... one parent out-doing the other and really, I wondered, does the kid even remember such events when they're 4 through 6??  I was refreshed to find this Mom who put together a 'Little Princess Picnic' for her daughter's 6th birthday.  Totally creative, sweet and memorable... and doesn't seem to be too stressful for momma. signed, me {CA}
