I had a day of small annoyances...none of which warrant talking about really, but I will.
1) Small annoyance first thing in the a.m.....realized my coffee tasted burnt but only AFTER I drove away from Starbucks. My drink is almost $4 and if wouldn't have cost me $10 in gas to go back the two miles I had driven away from Starbucks, I would have.
2) Second small annoyance of the day, got a bagel at Noah's and despite requesting "extra" cream cheese, there was hardly any. Why doesn't anyone understand the need for piles and piles of cream cheese??
3) Third small annoyance, my sister called and for the millionth time told me she was "bored". Bored? Seriously? She tells me this on a regular basis, and usually it is when I'm running around like a maniac trying to get everything I need to done, and foregoing the million other things I would like to do but for lack of time.
4) Fourth small annoyance, my almost new AG jeans are now officially "not cute big" on me. That pregnancy weight that felt like it would never come off has and now my jeans don't look good anymore. Sadly, I still don't fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans, so I'm in limbo once again and will either have to wear my too big jeans, or the ones that look painted on.
5) Fifth small annoyance....I spent the afternoon at Burger King for a birthday party. I almost collapsed from a seizure the moment I walked into the stimulus overloaded playland. I practically bathed myself and the girls in disinfectant after we got home, because honestly, I will have a breakdown if anyone else gets sick this season.
So that is my list of small annoyances. On the upside, my day went fairly smoothly really. I don't drink caffeine so missing my coffee this morning didn't do any permanent damage. My thighs could actually STAND to live without piles of cream cheese, my sister being bored will always be annoying (can't put a non-annoying spin on that one), my jeans being too big does in fact mean my thighs are smaller, and the afternoon at BK allowed me to have a little adult time, even if that meant screaming in order to be heard over the roar of hyperactive children! And...despite my crazy busy day and any attempt at bitching I do herein, it is totally obliterated by the fact that I'm sitting here with Gia sprawled out next to me making little sounds in her sleep. I feel like there has been something funky in the air lately and unpleasant things have popped up all over the place with people I know. Makes me count my blessings and remember the important things. (which you wouldn't have guessed I could do when you first started reading this blog)! :-) Signed, ME {lv}
