We have just gotten in the Mai scarves and they are GREAT! They are an investment at $198, but here is why they warrant the sticker price.....they are the perfect weight, they don't pill, the colors are amazing, and they feel fantastic. I'll admit, when I plop down almost $200 for a cashmere scarf, I normally would want to feel some serious cashmere heft for all that money. Instead, when I first felt this scarf I thought..."soft, but so lightweight....why is it $198??" The representative for this line is great, I've known her for years and she is the cutest thing ever. She actually had walked into our appointment (she has several other lines we buy too) in a tee, her Citizens jeans, and a Mai scarf wrapped around her neck. When I asked her if there was any price resistance to the scarves she said, NOPE...they are great. She handed me hers, which she said she had for years and took it absolutely everywhere with her (she travels to the LA and NY shows all the time). She said even living in LA she was able to wear it a ton, but also took it places where she needed the warmth. The scarf looked perfect...no pilling, no wear showing like sometimes you get with heavier cashmere. I have a bunch of cashmere scarves, and I always take them traveling with me, but I do have some that have balled up, and I have others that are too warm during the spring/summer/fall time....I don't have one that would really work year round, and I think this Mai one is what I need. The colors are amazing too, really lovely, and each one unusual in its own way (richer and more expensive than your standard looking colors). Can you tell I'm going to buy one? Signed, ME {lv}
