I went to wear a piece of silver jewelry the other day and since it had been months since I wore it, there was tarnishing. OF COURSE I had no tarnishing cloth handy. So I found this handy trick on the internet, and it works beautifully. You take a metal pan, line it with tin foil, place your piece of jewelry directly on the tin foil, pour boiling water on it, and then sprinkle in a good dose of baking soda. The baking soda causes the water to fizz and bubble, and within moments...voila, perfectly shiny silver. Cool huh? Signed, ME {lv}
OK...I have been dying to wear my silver jewelry this summer, but to busy/lazy to polish it up...tried your trick and it worked like a charm...thanks my friend!
