So Sunday night...and as if there was any doubt I'd be keeping up my yoga challenge, it was driven home that said challenge is necessary by my lovely 9 year old tonight. We were doing an expediant mom/kid shower in my room---the shower is huge and I can throw in all the kids car-wash style and be done with the whole thing in no time. It's chaos, don't get me wrong, but it works. Romeo was on the floor of the shower (somehow doesn't mind the shower heads and water in all directions hitting him), playing with a pink My Little Pony and piling on the newly added hairball from the drain to make Pony's hair turn from pink to brown. Gia was done washing her hair, reached for the condition and actually uttered the words, "do we have any better conditioner?" Not sure what she meant exactly, but I felt immediately embarassed at the so-so conditioner she was using (how did she know I hid the Bumble & Bumble from her 5 year old fingers??) Lucia was singing that obscene pop song involving a whistle and blowing. John walked into the bathroom and announced he'd broken his finger taking out the garbage (which really meant he hurt it a little and was being a baby). Then, amidst ALL the noise and commotion, there was still space in my brain to hear and process Ava's quiet statement to me somewhere in the middle of all of it...."Will my butt get flabby like that?" Ooohhhh, uuuhhhhhh. Pull the knife out slowly. Guess I AM going to yoga next week, if I was doubting it at all.
So, on that sad note, I will tell you all that I've picked out some "fan-tabulous" new yoga attire, that should be coming along shortly. The Hard Tail new razor back leggings (which has this flattering ruching at the backside), there are brand new washes and some capri supplex leggings with leopard trim--CUTE. I also picked 3-4 new tanks that I think will be great. It'll be just the yoga pick-me-up we (read: me) need!
Lastly, my week ahead is brutal...scheduling nightmares everywhere (and John's out of town all week). So my sister told me about this brilliant thing called YOGAGLO.COM where you can get any kind of yoga class you want online, ANYtime!! I haven't tried it, but this is part of my big plan for the week and hopefully how I'll keep my Mon/Wed/Fri schedule on track despite the week-from-hell ahead!! Wish me and my flabby butt luck!
