My daughter dresses better than I do. Ever since she was a little tyke of four, she has been picking out her own clothes and killing it. Her innate sense of proportion, color and silhouette has inspired me since she first worked that little polo dress and slip on sneaks in second grade. Now, at 14 and a freshman in high school, she is like a super-model every day, and puts my attempts at cool to shame!
But, I am still inspired. I have decided that I can learn from her, why not? If I'm lucky enough to have a stylist in the family, take advantage! She is honest with her opinions, and luckily, I don't fail too often, though I'll never be up to her level, and sometimes I glow with pride when she wants to borrow something of mine.
