Snow Days!

We have been socked in, iced over, and buffetted by blizard winds for the last week here in Oregon! Finally today it is beginning to thaw, the ice is losing its hold on the power lines and tree limbs, and you can hear the whole world dripping. The birds are much relieved, flitting here and there, drinking their fill, finding food now exposed by the melting snow. It's quite a change and a very welcome one! One forgets how much one misses one's cute shoes in a blizzard, after all! Happy Monday everyone!!!
