I'm going to share a happy moment, and a frownie moment.
First....happy moment. Months ago I got a bleach spot on my black French terry Katie Brown sweatshirt which I had grown to LOVE. It's the simplest sweatshirt, so I didn't expect to love it quite so much, but it's just good...fit is good, I like that it's plain black, it looks cute solo, or over a button down (prepster style), it's soft, washes well. You get the picture (literally and figuratively). So I was NOT a happy camper when I found a tiny eraser head size bleach mark. I blame the kids, it just feels like they something they had a hand in. Definitely couldn't be my poor washing or laundry management. Bleach disasters like this always are smack in the front too, not somewhere discreet. It's like a cosmic rule. The happy part? TODAY we are getting (finally) a restock of this beloved sweatshirt so I get a fresh chance at owning a bleach free sweatshirt. Cause for a big smile. Stay tuned, they will be on the site soon.
Now...the frownie part of the day. Someone went to the doc for a little botox in her frown. Someone's doc said, "sure, but you know clearly you are a side sleeper and if you couple that with gravity, well, no amount of muscle paralyzing will help that." She hands me (I mean someone) a box of Frownies. The really are called Frownies, no joke. Apparently they work well, and I tend to trust her since she doesn't sell any products (including Frownies which she just gave me out of her personal stash). She usually poo-poo's any of my questions about other products and stuff, with a dismissive "well, do it if you like it, but I don't know if it'll make a difference." She actually uses these herself, so that must mean something.
Just a note, you are going to look a little crazy wearing these to sleep. These are NOT going to help your sex life, but they will help your frown. They are like sticking a Biore pore strip across your frown line in-between your eyes, and sleeping with it. The fact I needed one in the first place made me frown though. But, a girl has to do what a girl has to do...in order to not look angry and "frownie."
