Sunday is for being lazy right? I hung out in my super comfortable Velvet sweats (from a couple of years ago...they are wide legged with a racing stripe down the outside of each leg and I love them), a long sleeve tee with a short sleeve tee layered over it, and a scarf (because it was cold today and I took two walks and ended up keeping my scarf on all day). I read my new book and drank wine. How's that for a productive day?
Did I do anything else? I did do a yoga class this morning, and I think I threw in one load of laundry. The kids were all equally lazy, and were happy to be left to their own devices.
It's pretty unimpressive. I'm going to gather some strength to start the week out with some purpose because it's going to be Monday shortly, AND it's going to be a brand new month in just a couple of days.
I can't stand the thought of April just going by in a hazy state, with an aimless, distracted stress existence. I can't do the things I thought I would do, but I can do a lot in a month with extra time, right?
So I'm going to come up with some April goals. Some quarantine goals. I know some of us are still are working full time (some of us at home and some of us at essential jobs out in the world) but regardless most of us find ourselves with buckets of time that we normally would have allotted to other things that we now can't do. So the question, before April arrives, is what are we going to get done during this time?
Meanwhile, my book is good, and my loungy day was restorative. Going to hit the ground running tomorrow.
