Gen X & Hearty Flowers

First, if you aren't Gen X, then this isn't going to matter much to you, but if you ARE a Gen X'er (that's 1965-1980 babies), then you will find this article entitled "It Took A Global Pandemic, But Generation X is Finally Getting Love", quite hysterical.  Two people sent it to me before I finally read it, and I laughed out loud...it pretty much nails our generation and also makes it clear why and how we are ruling this quarantine situation.

Secondly, my flower of the day picture is of these little beauties that are outside in my front yard.  You want to know the crazy thing?  I planted those bad boys LAST September.  They survived the winter and are still going strong.  They survived some snow, some dark days, some hail, some real cold temps, but they stayed tough against the world trying to kill them and decided they'd thrive anyway.  I feel like there is a lesson there somewhere.
