All I know is that this virus outbreak is only worrying me to the extent that NOW I feel the need to be a little bit more of a "prepper" -- not for this situation, but for a truly bad one that might come at some point in the future. What I'm noticing is that people don't do well with a little uncertainty, or restriction, or risk. Seriously, if something even remotely bad happened in this country, there would be a full blown crazy panic of monumental proportions. I wasn't feeling the need before, but now I feel like I do really need some kind of stockpile for when a real crisis happens because things will not go well and people will likely lose their collective sanity. I feel like we are just starting our experience with the coronavirus and already people are giving themselves anxiety attacks. Slow your roll people, it will all be fine and you can't burn out on anxiety this early.
Not to totally minimize the coronavirus, it's a terrible inconvenience and yes, we all need to modify certain behaviors to help mitigate risk (i.e. washing our hands alone is thing #1 and the practice will help not only this new virus but the spreading of the flu which is already dangerous to so many vulnerable populations). John keeps saying that at the end of all of this we might end up socializing behaviors that save many lives that otherwise wouldn't have been saved. Let the hand sanitizer and hand washing mania begis. Better stock up on hand cream, that sanitizer dries your hands out BAD.
I returned to hot yoga today after my microblading week long hiatus. It felt great, and I was totally grateful for what my body could do the whole time. I just felt so happy that I was there, my body felt good, and I was no longer jeopardizing my eyebrows. Big sigh of relief there. Last week taking it easy in more restorative classes was nice, but today felt 'back to normal' and really good.
The sun is shining this week, and we've got at least one day hitting 60 degrees. That's a reason to be happy right there! The only thing salting my game is that I noticed some gray hairs in my eyebrows. What the what? I take a lot of different supplements, why haven't they figured out one to fix grey hair yet? I feel like I need to do some more googling on that. Meanwhile, my Glossier Boy Brow gel is going to do double time.
Digging on these new Prairie Underground joggers--you can feel like you are lounging in your sweats, BUT you will look super cool. They are really cute on, love these! Especially love the cropped length.
